Reiki for Postpartum Mothers & Babies

What is Reiki, really?
(Especially if you’ve never tried it—or think it sounds kind of “out there.”)

At its simplest, Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-near) practice that helps the body settle.

You just lie down. Someone places their hands gently on or near your body. And often… you feel yourself start to exhale.

✨ Like your shoulders drop.
✨ Your thoughts slow down.
✨ Your breath deepens.
✨ Your body begins to feel safe.

Why?
Because Reiki invites co-regulation—a calm, steady presence that your system naturally responds to.

Just like a baby softens in the arms of a calm, grounded adult, adults respond too—whether we realize it or not. Our bodies want to return to balance when given the right conditions.

But Reiki isn’t just relaxation. It’s also a subtle energy practice—supporting flow, release, and realignment at levels we may not always have words for.
Grief. Tension. Old stories. Stuck places. Reiki doesn’t force anything—it simply offers a gentle current that helps your system do what it already knows how to do: heal, soften, reorient.

You don’t need to “believe” in it. You don’t even need to understand it.
You just need to be open to feeling something shift.

Reiki is less about "fixing" and more about creating space—space for you to come home to yourself.

I weave Reiki into all of my postpartum offerings.
It’s there in the way I hold mothers—sometimes through gentle, hands-on Reiki, and sometimes simply through the calm, steady presence it has cultivated in me. Reiki reminds me that healing doesn’t always come from doing more, but from creating space for what’s already within to move, release, and realign.

I also offer standalone Reiki sessions for postpartum mothers and babies—quiet, nurturing moments to restore balance, softness, and connection.

You’re welcome to reach out if you feel ready—or even if you’re just curious and want to know more.
